Bosher, 32, was placed on IR previously this season prior to the Falcons' Week 5 matchup with the Texans due to a groin injury. He was activated to the team's 53-man roster on Dec. 2, but Bosher appeared on the team's Friday injury report with the same right groin injury that landed him on IR the first time.
Allen, 29, joined the Falcons during their bye week after spending much of his career with the New England Patriots. He played in four games with the team, showing a propensity to pin opponents deep in their own territory with coffin-corner punts.
As Quinn announced would be the case on Friday, the Falcons have officially promoted Lindstrom to the 53-man roster. Lindstrom was placed on IR due to a foot injury he sustained in the team's season opener, and he will be the starter for Atlanta on Sunday against the Carolina Panthers.
Meier, 24, has spent time on and off of the Falcons' practice squad this season and was promoted to the active roster for the Saints game on Thanksgiving night. Meyer is an undrafted rookie out of the University of Oklahoma, where he finished fifth on the team with 19 catches for 327 yards and four touchdowns in 2018.
In addition to the moves involving Bosher and Lindstrom, the Falcons have signed offensive lineman John Wetzel.
